Dear Town Club Member:
We had hoped to reschedule the 2020 New Member Brunch, but with the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic, we feel that the best decision is to cancel it. We are cancelling the 2020 Christmas Happy Hour as well.
This year has proven to be difficult and uncertain. We are very proud of the Town Club Board for staying flexible and changing plans, often changing plans multiple times on events we held and even those we didn’t get to hold. That flexibility enabled us to hold the Prospective Member Putting Tournament, the New Member Voting Meeting as well as the Steve Buffkin Memorial Skeet Shoot.
What will 2021 look like? Annual membership dues will be reduced. The exact amount will be determined before dues notifications go out early next year. We are hopeful that we will be able host all of our typical events in 2021. Contracts are signed and deposits have been made for our Fiesta Party on April 20th at The Argyle.
Lastly, we are in the process of transitioning our web presence either through a more comprehensive web site or through an app that will simplify paying dues, writing recommendation letters, keeping contact information current and RSVP’ing to events. We are also updating our membership database which is very outdated. Please check the club roster which is available in the Member’s Area of our website www.townclubsa.com. When the pandemic is behind us, we are all going to be ready for a great party and that is what Town Club does best.
